    Music Credentials and Background (Bio)

    Hello!

    I’m a piano teacher operating mainly in the St Clair West, Bloor West, and Annex area. I work with adults and children, executing diagnostic assessments to identify areas for improvement and creating lesson plans to address the specific needs of each student. I focus on goal-oriented practice and education. Please contact me for a trial lesson, I’d be happy to provide references!

    Professional experience:

    • Orchestra Mentor, at the TCDSB Youth Strings Ensemble
      – Conducts practice sessions, full rehearsals, and performances.
      – Works one-on-one with developing musicians at the elementary level.
      – Accompanies the ensemble.
    • Concert Organizer and Coordinator for Music Without Borders, Nonprofit
      – Arranges venue, auditions prospective performers.
      – Promotes, schedules, and produces charity concert to raise funds for Doctors Without Borders.
    • On-Site Promoter at Exclaim! Music Magazine
    • Freelance Film Composer

    • University of Toronto Faculty of Music, Bachelor of Music, Piano specialization (2017 – Present)

    • Extensive ensemble experience, currently a member of the University of Toronto Concert Orchestra.
    • Studied piano with Dr Karen Broadhurst and currently RCM faculty member Tanya Tkachenko. Self-taught multi-instrumentalist.
