Colin Sandquist has completed his undergraduate degree at University of Toronto for Music Education. At the age of 17 Colin performed at Carnegie Hall with the TYWO band, and went on to perform at Disney Hall, Los Angeles. He has performed alongside the Great Canadian Brass, Jens Lindemann, and been conducted by Frank Tichelli, Johan de Meij and Sam Hazo. He most recently performed in R. Murray Schaffers: Apocalypsis during the Luminato festival, and was one of five clarinetists representing Musica Reflecta. Colin also plays alto saxophone, baritone saxophone, piano and guitar. Colin continues his studies in composition, in practice with Sheridan College Film Animation students. He has been featured in Notations Magazine for his work Open Sea.
