Hi! I’m Madeline, and I teach songwriting and composition. My philosophy when it comes to teaching is to give you a practical, well-rounded skillset that you can apply directly to your career or hobby in music. Some of the topics we’ll cover include writing strong melodies, crafting your arrangement, recording and producing your own music, creating realistic MIDI demos, and career development if you are interested in pursuing this field professionally.
A bit about me: I began writing music when I was 13, and have since written for theatre, TV, film, and live orchestra productions. I also have almost ten years of experience recording and producing music, including working as an assistant engineer at Gordon Wragg recording studios. I finished my degree in music at Humber College in 2020 with a major on trumpet and composition, and currently write music professionally. I also have several years experience in teaching, with a CRLA Tutoring Certification.
If you’re interested in lessons or have questions, shoot me a message and let’s make some music!
