Gabriella is a classically trained singer and a working music therapy intern residing around the GTA. She has a Honours Bachelor of Music Therapy with a minor in psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University. She studied voice and piano through the Royal Conservatory of Music. She has had both working and teaching experience in these instruments working with various population such as children and adolescents and adults with special needs during her time at university and her internship. She has worked at schools, seniors’ homes and summer camps.
As an avid supporter of group singing, Gabriella has been a member of various choirs including the prestigious Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, Laurier’s University Choir and her local church choir. On the other hand, Gabriella has participated in numerous music competitions such as the OMFA 2012 Provincials Finalist Competition, Toronto Kiwanis Music Festival, and NATS Chapter Audition.
In terms of her teaching method and philosophy, Gabriella likes to be eclectic and take a person-centered approach when teaching her students since each student is unique and process information differently when learning music.
